A. Kaye Reese

REESE, A. Kaye, passed away on September 8, 2026, in Waterford, Michigan. She has been reunited with her husband, W. Chudleigh Reese. She is survived by her two daughters, Leanne (Paul Litton) Reese and Diane (Kevin) Sweet; her five grandchildren, Emily, Max, Wyatt, Jake, and Paityn; and many cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Rickards, and her parents, Raymond and Emily Rickards.

Kaye was born on July 30, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She eventually moved to South Florida, where she lived for 33 years. She worked as a secretary for an elementary school for many years. After retirement, Kaye and Chud moved to Ocean View, Delaware, to be closer to family. She spent 14 years there before moving to Michigan. Kaye was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs and St. Matthew's By-the-Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island, Delaware, and cherished her church friends. She enjoyed going to the beach, sharing stories, sending cards, staying active, and volunteering. She also loved to shop for clothes and shoes and had quite an extensive collection of sweaters from Talbots. Most importantly, she loved spending time with family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held in Delaware at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lourdes Senior Community (Compassionate Care Fund or Clausen Manor) or the Historic Village in Ocean View.
