LOZANO, Alfred J. "Al"; born April 7, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Anthony and Lupe Lozano; of Ortonville; passed away August 15, 2024 at the age of 98;
preceded in death by his wife Marion; father of Cheryl (late Michael) Kush and Cynthia (Donald) Dees; grandpa "Papa" of Elizabeth (Dustin) Case, Heather Kush, Brenton Kush, Rebecca (Donell) Hall and Anthony (Shay) Dees; also survived by 6 great grandchildren; oldest brother of late William (Marla) Lozano, late Joseph (late Elsie) Lozano, Raymond (Christine) Lozano and Theresa (Roman) Rodriguez.
Al attended Western High School, Detroit and served as a corporal in the U.S. Marines during WWII. He and Marion fell in love while they exchanged letters as he was fighting for our country. Al worked at H.A. Powell's Studios, Detroit as head of photography. He owned and operated the first one hour photo in Michigan, opening it in Dearborn. He was an active member of St. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clarkston. Al was a man of faith, full of grace.
Friends may visit St. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clarkston on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00am with a funeral at 12 Noon.
Cemetery service with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly on Monday, August 26th at 10:30am.
