Alice J. "Joann" Heenan

HEENAN, Alice J. "Joann" age 91 of Clarkston and Titusville, FL passed away December 3, 2024. Mother of Charles "Rusty" (Tina) Walker, Sandra (Jerry) Piontkowski, George "Lee" (Barbara) Heenan, MD, Michael (Carol) Heenan, and Thomas (Kellie) Heenan; grandmother of 9; and great-grandmother of 8. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband's Charles Walker and George Heenan, and daughter, Paula Heenan.

Joann worked as a court reporter for Lapeer and Oakland County's, until her retirement. After retiring, she moved to Titusville, Florida, where she enjoyed bird watching, rock hunting, and nature, truly her "Happy Place". She became a tour guide for Merritt Island National Wildlife Life Refuge where she helped others find peace in nature.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home Clarkston, with visitation beginning at 11:30 am and service following at 12:30 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge 1987 Scrub Jay Way Titusville, FL 32728.
