Arlene Fosmoen

Arlene Fosmoen; of White Lake, formerly Farmington Hills; passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 85. Reunited with her loving husband Gary Fosmoen; Mother of Deanna (Ward) Houldsworth, Brenda Durnell, Kristin Cameron; Grandmother of Courtney (Tony), Josh (Gena), Ryan (Courtney), Riley, Milan, Mackenzie, Liam; Great Grandmother of Jack, Sammy, Lucy, August, and Corrie; Sister of Marilyn Olree, Al (Marilyn) Wohlart, and Donna (the Late Bob) Kenney. Preceded in death by her parents Albert and Vida Wohlart.

Arlene was an amazing woman who could make people feel right at ease and was always a loyal friend. She enjoyed boating and being by the water. Her happy place was Fort Myers, Florida. She was super witty and a fighter to the very end. Arlene was the Matriarch of her family and she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She attended every event they had and made sure her whole family felt loved. She will also be missed by her beloved dog Dixie. She loved to shop, she especially loved a good deal! She found comfort in Scripture read aloud to her, and enjoyed learning about Jesus.

A Visitation will be held for Arlene on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 10am at the Funeral Home. Family and friends may arrive any time after 9am. Memorial donations may be made towards St. Jude Children's Research .
