Ashleigh Marie Betzing

BETZING, Ashleigh Marie; age 39; of Clarkston; passed away at home on March 3, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer; wife of Peter; mother of three young sons: Peter, Joshua and Jacob; daughter of Gordon and Audrey Tate; niece of Linda Hamilton & Joe (Penny) Shepherd; cousin of Tammy (Charlie) Bowles and McKenzie Shepherd; daughter in law of Cheryl (late Peter Michael) Betzing; sister in law of Stephanie (Justin) Paye; granddaughter of Edward & Gloria Johnson; preceded in death by her grandparents Audrey  &  Thomas Shepherd, Anna & Reuben Poff, Peter Angus and Evelyn Rose Betzing and her uncle, Bill Shepherd.

Ashleigh was a graduate of Clarkston High School and held a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with minors in Spanish and Advertising and Promotion from Western Michigan University. Ashleigh worked at Costco as a licensed optician and loved her cats Abby & Biscuit. She enjoyed crocheting, all arts and crafts and will be remembered for her sense of design, as well as her compassion and her love for her children.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Tuesday March 7 ^th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday March 8 ^th at 11:00am at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston with visiting directly at the church at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society .
