Beatrice Mellado

MELLADO, Beatrice; "Mama Bea"; of Waterford; passed away on August 12, 2025; age 93. Preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Ruth Guzman, her husband, Robert and sons, Robert and Mark and her siblings, Ruth Poly, William Guzman, Peter Guzman, Mary Mora, Carmen Ortez, Joe Guzman and Trina Guzman.  Loving mother of Porferia "Porki" (Rick Quitmeyer) Mellado, Sabrina (Robert Hotchkin) Mellado and Lisa (Ivan Jr.) Craycraft.  Proud grandmother of Ivan III Craycraft, Tiffany Mellado, Vladimir Craycraft and Robert "R.J." Mellado; great grandmother of Lainey, Audrie and Dominic Craycraft.  Beatrice is also survived by many in laws, extended family and friends.

Beatrice was an excellent Mexican cook.  She went by Mama Bea because she babysat for so many nieces and nephews and children of many friends.  Most importantly, Beatrice loved spending time with her family.

Visitation at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home on Monday, August 18th, from 4 pm until 8 pm.

Private Interment All Saints Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Oakland County Animal Shelter.
