Bert Thomas Kovacs

KOVACS, Bert Thomas; of Clarkston formerly of Dearborn;

Passed away on January 1, 2025; age 80;

preceded in death by his wife Larena "Rennie"; father of Kelly (Victor) Pena; grandpa "Papa" of Manuel and Layla Pena; brother of the late Vivian Michaels; uncle of Shawn (Cheryl) Michaels and Michele Rogers; great uncle of Austin and Tyler Rogers; brother in law of Brian (Ria) LaBarge and Gina (Kevin) Daniels;

Bert served in the U.S. Navy and was an auto claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Mustang Owners Club of Southeastern MI and Bowties Car Club. Many special memories were made with his grandchildren at car shows. He also was a member of the SONS model train club and served as past president of Oakland County Sportsmen's Club.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Saturday, January 11th at 12 Noon with a Celebration of Life sharing time at 1:00pm.

Inurnment Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.

Memorials may be made to March of Dimes .
