Bertha Overfield

OVERFIELD, Bertha; of Clarkston; born October 16, 1933; passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 92.

Mother of Kerry E. (Ralph) Weil, Helen Jeanette (John Bailey) Johnson, Randy L. (Ann) Overfield, and Phyllis E. (Henri) Gadoua. Grandmother of Jennifer C. (Daniel Skowronek) Weil, Brian Weil, Ralph D. (Jen) Weil, Kara (Rich) Weil, Christine (Adam) Johnson, Kelsey Bailey, Adam (Lauren) Overfield, Lauren (Travis) Gamble; Great-grandmother of Zara, Gia, Taylor, Hayden, Kai, Braley, Charley, and Greyson. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Bertha loved plants and flowers, often spending time gardening. She most importantly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she adored. Bertha also had a special place in her heart for her dogs and for bird watching.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .

A Celebration of Life for Bertha will be held on June 13, 2026 starting at 11:00am at Independence Oaks Park, Pine Grove Shelter, 9501 Sashabaw Road, Clarkston. There will not be a park entry fee.
