Betty Jean Lamphere

LAMPHERE, Betty Jean; of Waterford;

born May 28, 1935 in Pontiac to Lawrence and Catherine Eslinger. Passed away September 27, 2026 at the age of 91.

Preceded in death by her husband Eugene “Gene” Lamphere, son Jeffrey Lamphere and daughter Shelly (Mark) Thornton.

Grandma of Samantha (Josh) Antoine, Danielle Lamphere, Chris Thornton and Elizabeth (Daniel) Hall.

Great Grandma of Nora and one on the way.

Betty was a nurse, having graduated from the McAuley School of Nursing. She loved pets, most recently the family dog “Izzy” and cat “Lucy”. Betty enjoyed gardening, watching Family Feud and doing crossword puzzles. She attended Clarkston United Methodist Church.

Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.
