HARIG, Brandon Michael; of Clarkston formerly of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Born October 23, 1984 in Grand Rapids; passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on August 12, 2026 at the age of 41.

Doting father of Elizabeth “Ellie” Harig.

Loving son of Cheryl (Erik) Crooks and Michael (Christina) Harig.

Grandson of Lynne Barber/Bob Morehouse and Maynard and JoAnne Harig.

Brother of Owen and Aiden Harig.

Nephew to several aunts and uncles and cousin to many wonderful cousins.

Supported when he needed it most by his friend and former spouse, Kylie Ortiz (mother of Ellie).

Brandon graduated from East Kentwood high school and attended University of Michigan and Michigan State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans. He was the Chief Operations Officer and “heart and soul” of Stern Law, Novi. Brandon will be remembered as a sincere, compassionate and loving person who made his daughter a priority in his life. He loved University of Michigan football and shared his love of music with Ellie. He will be missed by many, including his dog Delta.

Per Brandon’s wishes, there will be no formal service. His wish was that his friends and family do something fun in his memory and to remember the good times that they shared.

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

In lieu of flowers, any donations to the family will be used for Ellie’s future education.
