Brenda Lee Filbert

FILBERT, Brenda Lee age 66 of Holly, died unexpectedly on March 8, 2025, with her family by her side. Loving mother of Joshua (Danielle) Filbert and Jamie Filbert; devoted life partner and fiancé of Nick Jackson; adored sister of Cindy Koss, Darwin (Norma) Betts; adored sister in law of Carol Betts; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews, and dearest dog mom of Sammy and Fern. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Eleanora Betts, and brother, Darrell Betts.

Brenda devoted her life not only to her family, especially her sons, but also to the care of many others. She spent her career as a care giver, most recently working for Visiting Angels. Brenda enjoyed fishing, watching and feeding the birds, flowers, and gardening, and she could always be counted on for an up to date weather report. She also had many knick knack collections that she proudly displayed in her home. Brenda will be truly missed for her kindness and compassion to others.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be Saturday, March 15, 2025, at

1:00 pm at the First Congregational Church of Clarkston 5449 Clarkston Road Clarkston. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of service. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
