Brenda Kay Marlowe

MARLOWE, Brenda Kay; of Pontiac; formerly of Holly; born December 5, 1963, in Flint; passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 62.

Beloved sister of Dawn (Paul) Shampine, Carla (Craig) Frownfelter, Wanda Marlowe, and Melanie (Mike) Spires. Sister-in-law of Rick Randall. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Ferna Marlowe, and sister Susan Randall.

Brenda earned her bachelor’s degree from Anderson University and then her master’s from Ball State University. She went on to work as a caregiver for most of her life, providing compassionate in-home care, companion support and personal assistance. Brenda was a devoted member at Community Bible Church; her faith was central to her life. She was musically gifted; she had a love for singing and playing the piano. She shared her love of music through teaching piano lessons and being a part of the Sweet Adelines.

A Memorial Service for Brenda will be held at Community Bible Church, Waterford Twp. on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 11:00 am.
