Bruce B. Lax

LAX, Bruce Blanchard; of Waterford; passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 86; Loving husband of Beverly Lax, who he shared a wonderful 63 years of marriage with; father of Michael (Yvonne) Lax and Cindy (Mark) Lewan; grandfather of Tara, Derek (Kelley), Mariah, Brianna, Zachary (Krissie), Nicholas (Kassie), and Joshua; great grandfather of Kierian, Zinnalee, and Arden; preceded in death by his parents Fred and Lena Lax.

Bruce enjoyed reading and playing games like Bridge. He was a proud member of Central United Methodist Church for 50 years. He was also a proud fan of Ohio State Football. But most importantly, Bruce loved his family and friends, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held for Bruce on Thursday,  September 4, 2025, at 12:30pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Friends may arrive any time after 11:30am.
