Carol Charlotte Harter

HARTER, Carol; of Ortonville; passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2026, at the age of 76; Loving wife of Charles Harter; Mother of Kimberly Harter, Amy (Tim) Tucker, and Tammy (Christopher) Drew; Grandmother of Hannah Tucker, Hailey Tucker, Oliver Harter, Mariana Candelario, Chris Drew, Chase Drew, and Cashlynn Drew; Sister of Betty (the Late Ben) Savedge, the Late Patsy (the Late Dale) Hoisington, Judy DeRoseau, the Late Glenda (Ronald) Brown, Jackie Blevins, Gary (Sherry) Clark, and Kathy (Mac) Wright.

Carol enjoyed everything that was nature, especially birds. She loved to go camping and being outdoors. She also enjoyed baking and making sweet treats for everyone. She was famous for her rum balls. She loved celebrating holidays, reading, and watching Hallmark movies. And she loved going to Disney World. But most importantly she loved her children and grandchildren, and going to church every Sunday with her family.

A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4pm to 8pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 11am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Ortonville.
