Charles Edward Pillion, age 78 of Burton, MI passed away peacefully on June 20th 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Charles was a proud American and a man of unwavering faith. A true patriot, he served his country with honor as a boots-on-the-ground soldier in the Vietnam War, where he was awarded two Purple Hearts for his bravery and sacrifice.

Charles was a faithful member of Pontiac Missionary Baptist Church, where his love for God and his church family was evident in all he did. He lived his life as a reflection of his beliefs—walking in faith, loving his family deeply, and serving others with humility and strength.

After his military service, Charles built a successful career as a plant manager. He was known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication to those he worked alongside. In his free time, Charles was a true sports enthusiast. He loved playing baseball in his younger years and remained a loyal fan of Kentucky college sports throughout his life.
