Christine D. Fowler

FOWLER, Christine D. "Chris"; of Waterford; born December 10, 1950 in Detroit to Daniel and Anna Fowler; passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025 at the age of 74;

Mother of Chrisanna Olewnik and Damian (Todd) Craine; "Grandma Chris" of  Veronica Peldys, Mathew Peldys, Dylan Craine and Jacob Craine; Sister of Catherine Champion and Caren (Mike) Panizzo; aunt of Cara (Eric) Spleet, Danny Stiver and Lindsey (Bobby) Day; she will also be missed by her Shih Tzu, "Bruce the dog".

Chris graduated from Plymouth High School, where she was active in theatre and often played the lead roles. She waitressed at Charley's Crab, Troy and at Pine Knob. She met many famous people, which led her to write and publish a memoir/autobiography. Later in life, she went to college and earned a Bachelor's of Science in nursing from Oakland University. She retired from Children's Hospital of Detroit and St John's Hospital on Moross as a Registered Nurse. Chris had artistic talents, from her personal style to making jewelry, being a seamstress and gardening. She will be remembered as a "one of a kind force of enthusiasm" as well as brave, opinionated and a good person to offer advice.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Monday, November 24th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Service Tuesday, November 25th at 10:30am at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Private interment White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
