Clarence (Kit) H. Kitson, Jr.

KITSON, Clarence H. Jr. "Kit"; born July 6, 1928 in Waterford to Armand and Clarence Kitson Sr; of Clarkston formerly of Pontiac; entered eternal life April 20, 2024 at the age of 95. Preceded in death by his wife Marvel in 2013.

Father of Jeff (Debbie) Kitson and Jim (Dianne) Kitson. Grandpa of Kristin Kitson, Jeff (Katie) Kitson, Melissa (Joshua) Zian and Melinda (Ryan) Hart. Great grandpa of Elsie, Clara, Mackenzie, Joseph, Emily and one great grandson on the way. Preceded in death by his siblings: Jim, Marcelle, Jean and Denise.

Kit graduated from Pontiac High School and served in the U.S. Marines from 1946-1948 China Pacific duty. He worked for General Motors Truck & Coach as a tool & die maker and retired as a process engineer. Kit and his wife built their family home in 1955. He was an active member at Seymour Lake United Methodist Church since 1956. Kit enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling with his wife.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, April 25th from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm

Funeral Service Friday, April 26th at 11:00 am at Living Waters of Seymour Lake Church/Seymour Lake United Methodist Church historic sanctuary, with visitation beginning at the church at 10:00 am.

Walking procession across the street for graveside prayers at Seymour Lake Cemetery.
