Dale L. Novak

NOVAK, Dale L.; of Gladwin formerly of West Bloomfield; born January 12, 1945 in Detroit to Helen and Leon Novak; passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 80;

husband of Grace for 57 years; father of Stephen (Mary) Novak, Darren Novak and Kelly Novak; grandpa of Kaleigh, Griffin and Gage Novak; brother of the late Judy Baumgart; brother in law of Sally (Bob) Bessert; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family gratefully thanks the Intensive Care Unit at Trinity Health (St. Joseph Mercy Hospital) for their wonderful care.

Dale spent his entire career involved with automobiles as a sales representative. After graduating high school,  he worked at Chrysler while serving 7 years in the Air National Guard. He worked at Springfield Machine and Stamping and then started/ owned/operated Advance Marketing and Sales.  Dale was an avid boater and longtime member of the Detroit Yacht Club. He loved all cars and was a NASCAR fan. Dale was a sports enthusiast, always supporting local teams: Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday, March 19th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Service Thursday, March 20th at 10:00am at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Chaplain Hank Messing officiating.
