Danny A. Bentley

BENTLEY, Danny A. “Dan” of Davisburg age 69, died August 8, 2026, after a short illness. Loving Husband to Rene; Father of Kristi (Shawn) McNally, Courtnie Bentley; Stepfather of Jennifer (Brian) Wullaert, Laura (Jacob Ishmael) Gunn Grandpa of Kayla (Stephen) Williams, Bryce (Shelby) McNally, Paige (Thomas) Gunn, Lauryn (Matt Jennings) Fecko, Avery Boose, Liliana Boose; Great Grandpa of Sophia Williams, Wilder Gunn, Rowan Gunn; Brother of Kathy Pack, Gilbert Bentley, Lori Love; Uncle and friend to many and Dog Dad to Tucker. Dan worked for Terry Machine, beginning his career as a tradesman and retiring as Plant Manager. After retirement, Dan would go on and work for Clarkston Community Schools as a custodian, where he was dearly loved by students and staff throughout the district. In his free time, Dan enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling around Michigan with Rene and Tucker in their camper, and sitting around a bonfire with his closest friends and family. He was known for always being direct (which we loved about him), his skills as a grill master, and his witty sense of humor even to the very end having many inside jokes with those he loved. But most of all he will be remembered for the love he had for his family. He was always present, cheering on his kids and grandkids at sporting events, recitals, birthdays, etc. supporting them through it all. In accordance with Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Life Celebration Service will be announced at a future date. Arrangements were entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Rene and mailed to Wint Funeral Home.
