Deborah Joanne Schell

SCHELL, Deborah Joanne; of Clarkston; passed away April 19, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer; age 49;

mother of David Willis Gray Schell; fiancé of William C. Kennedy III; daughter of Polly (James) Parker and Richard "Rick" (Betsy) Bassette; sister of Ruth (Zach) Reifsnyder, Michael (Sarah) Parker, Jeni (Jesse) Eddings, Melissa (Michael) Hewitt, Joshua (Carla) Volp and Michael (Sydney) Grabowski; aunt of Ella, Colton, Winnie, Josie, Jaydon, Jordan, Jaxson, Eli, Noah, Scarlett, Desmond, Ryan, James, Vincent, Henry, Jacqueline, Samuel and Bella; niece of Marion Pahmeier and Jim & Sharon Jones; sister in law of Joshua (Marilyn) Schell and Jacob (late Becky) Schell; also survived by David's father, Dan Schell and David's granddaddy Daniel Schell Sr.; cousin of Jeffery and James Jones; step-mom Linda Smith.

Debbie graduated from Clarkston High School in 1991 and earned two Bachelor degrees from University of Michigan, Flint. She enjoyed playing tennis, biking, gardening and painting. She will be missed by her beloved dog, Cooper.

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Memorial Service Tuesday, April 25 ^th at Calvary Lutheran Church, Clarkston with visiting at the church at 10:00am followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, any donations to the family will be used for the future college education of Debbie's son.
