Dennis James Roy

ROY, Dennis James of North Carolina; formerly of Clarkston/Holly; passed away on July 11, 2026; age 65. Preceded in death by his parents Jean and Florence “Chookie” Roy and his siblings Patrick Roy, Christopher Roy and Jeanne Bartlett. Father of Justin (Jessica) Roy. Grandfather of Katiana and Xavier Roy. Brother of Joyce Berman, Mike (Honorable Susan Woodrow, Retired) Roy, Mark (Becky) Roy, Mary (Craig) Walker, Colette Roy, Shawn (late Dave) Locher, and J.P. Roy. Dennis is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dennis attended Holly High School. He was proud to serve in the United States Army. Dennis enjoyed Detroit Sports, Michigan Wolverine Athletics and going out to breakfast.

Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Memorial Service Monday, August 10, 2026, at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Charity of One’s Choice.
