Diane Wendt

WENDT, Diane; of Waterford; born March 8, 1935; passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 90.

Mother of David (Marcia) Wendt and Elizabeth Frances Zaza; Grandmother of Rasheed Zaza, Alyssa Wendt, and Julia (Kane) Wolfer. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eva Popovich and sister Barabara Popovich.

Diane attended the University of Toledo where she earned her master's degree in public health education. She went on to work at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City where she was the head of the Outpatient Education Department. Diane was known to be a master florist. She enjoyed spending time gardening and working in her yard. She also enjoyed crafting, reading, and walking the shores of the Bay in Traverse City. Diane most importantly loved spending time with her cat Oliver, whom she loved dearly. She will be missed deeply.

Graveside service Friday, October 31 at 11 AM at Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston.
