Dianne L. Burkett

BURKETT, Dianne Lillie of Davisburg; age 73; passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023.  Preceded in death by her former husband, Hollis Sherman and husband and love of her life, David Burkett, her siblings Gregory (late Sherri) Lamrouex, Stanley (late Kay) Lamrouex, Richard (late Shirley) Martenis, Nancy (late Dan) Haas and Barbara (late George) Pintrick.  Loving mother of Staci (Randy) Short, Jennifer Frescura, Tina Sherman, William (Janice) Sherman and Michael (Jill) Sherman.  Proud grandmother of Tara, Jeremy, Joseph, Jacob, Samantha, Katharine, Chloe, Haley, Lindsay, Everett and Eleanor.  Great grandmother of Joani, Nova, Braxton and Riley.  Dearest sister of Viriginia (late Bill) Jones, Thelma (late Roy) Emery,  Deborah (late John) McGrath and Pamela (late Carl) Cooke.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Dianne retired from General Motors.  She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, sewing, and attending antique shows.  Most importantly, Dianne loved spending time with the grandchildren.

Visitation Friday 6-9 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Service 12:30 pm, Saturday, August 12th at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
