Donald Ray Layman

LAYMAN, Donald Ray; born January 22, 1958 in Grosse Pointe, MI; of  Los Angeles, CA; passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024 at the age of 66;

son of JoAnn (the late Don) Layman; oldest brother of Doug Layman, Dennis Layman and Diane Layman; preceded in death by his brother Greg Layman; special uncle of Meghan Puckett, Lee Ann (Jason) Brown, Brittany (Matt) Firchau, Caley (Franco) Vitella, Connor Layman and Johnathan Layman; great uncle of Jackson, Mirah, Zelda, Evelyn, Mae and Ivy Jo.

Donald graduated in 1976 from Lake Shore High School, St. Clair Shores. He was a talented artist with an active gallery at donaldlaymanart.com He had a huge impact on thousands of lives, supporting them in their sobriety, the 12 Steps and clean living.

Cremation services entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

A celebration of life memorial will be announced.
