Donald Patrick Neadow

NEADOW, Donald Patrick "Satch"; of Clarkston, formerly of Cooks, Upper Peninsula; born in Manistique on May 3, 1946 to John and Mae Neadow; passed away February 27, 2026 at the age of 79.

Dear husband of Ann "Amy" (nee Leach) for 55 years.

Loving father of Kelly Leverenz and Holly (Chris) Schempf.

Doting papa of Krista (Jordan Evans) Leverenz, Joshua Leverenz, Patrick (Kayla Hegedus) Sutherland and Camden (Devin Kilpatrick) Sutherland.

Preceded in death by brothers: Eugene "Junior", Robert, Francis "Blackie", James, Ted, Mike, David and sisters: Stella Pilon, Betty Letson, Maxine "Mickey" Sinclair, Mary Neadow and Mary Levine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews that shared a special close bond.

Don retired as a operating engineer with Local 324. He served in the U.S. Army. Being a true "Yooper", Don enjoyed the outdoors thoroughly. He was an avid snowmobiler, ice fisherman, and deer/turkey hunter. Don was a hard worker and could often be found tinkering with creative inventions and projects in the garage or keeping his yard immaculate. He appreciated family deeply, proudly serving his famous pancakes at the annual family reunion.  He also enjoyed socializing with friends and neighbors and was known for his authentic great sense of humor.  Satch will be remembered as savoring a cold Busch Light in the garage and saying goodbye as "bullshit later."
