Donald Leonard Watson

WATSON, Donald L. of Oxford; passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 90. Reunited with his wife of 63 years Shirley Watson; Father of Kamala McLarty and Rebecca (late Mark) Gieseking; Grandpa of Matthew McLarty, Andrew "A.J" (Mandy) McLarty, Courtney (Nikolai) Gieseking, Amber (Josh) Marck, Jessica Gieseking and Markie Gieseking; Great Grandpa "Pa" of Henry Marck; Brother of Dale (Cheryl), Karen, and brother in law of Virginia; Preceded in death by his siblings Lydia, Herbie, Ruth, Lawson, and Larry and his parents Charles and Irma.

Donald was a proud U.S Veteran of the Marine Corps. Him and his wife Shirley were long members of the American Legion, Post 63. Donald loved to go to the casino. He also enjoyed camping, bowling, traveling and watching wrestling. But most importantly, he loved his family.

A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday February 1st, at 2pm at First Congregational Church of Clarkston. Family and friends may arrive any time after 1pm.
