MASON, Doris May; of Waterford; formerly of Clarkston; born July 5, 1932 in Pontiac to Alfred and Olinda Briggs; passed away May 10, 2026 at the age of 93;

preceded in death by her husband Charles; mother of Patricia (Bruce) Nesbitt, Robert (Margaret) Mason and Gary (Susan) Mason; grandma "Granny" of Kelly (Kent) Allion, Bryan (Joslynn) Mason, Matthew (Rosie) Mason, Chelsea (Rafael) Zabala, Lindsey (Chris) VanRaemdonck and Danny Mason; great grandma of Zachary, Abbey, Marissa, Lexie, Adrianna, Cecilia, Elijah, Roman, Shyler and Jaylynn;

preceded in death by  her siblings: late Dale (late Nancy) Briggs and late Marilyn (late Larry) Ferguson.

Doris graduated from Pontiac High School in 1950 and retired from the cash office at Montgomery Ward, Pontiac. She enjoyed golfing, having played on leagues and even scoring a hole in one. Doris was a 33 year breast cancer survivor.

Private family services. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
