Dr. Randall W. Baetz

BAETZ, Dr. Randall William “Randy” age 76, of Clarkston, passed away on August 17, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 38 years, Patty, beloved children, Melissa Erskine, (fiancé, Eric Frostad), Jeremy (Chelsea) Baetz, and Justin (Nicole) Baetz, adored grandchildren, Ela, Asher, and Brooks, and dear sisters, Judi (Bill) Kulchar, Patricia Baetz, Chrissy (the late Al) McCool and Cheryl (Rick) Hejl, and his beloved dogs, Bubbuz, and Lily Mae. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lily Baetz.

Randy practiced dentistry in Clarkston for 43 and a half years, where he was adored and loved by his patients. He was a proud graduate of the University of Michigan for both his undergrad and graduate degrees, GO BLUE! In his free time, Randy enjoyed sports, especially golf and tennis. He was an avid Michigan and Detroit Lions fan, he enjoyed bird watching, traveling, camping, and wintering in Naples, Florida. Randy would tell you his biggest accomplishment was being a loving and devoted husband, dad, Grandpa and Peepaw!

Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home in Clarkston, with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Ottawa Park Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society-Donate and Fight Melanoma.
