Edward "Ed" Johnson

JOHNSON, Edward "Ed"; of Clarkston; passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 90. Reunited with his loving wife Gloria Johnson. Father of the Late Curtis (Gloria) Johnson, Cheryl (the Late Peter) Betzing, Brent (Yvonne) Johnson, the Late Gary Johnson, and Jeff (Angela) Johnson; Grandfather of Michelle, Alejandra, Pete, Stephanie, Nickolas, Samantha, Madalene, Melissa, Michael, Jessica, the Late Jaimie, Noelle, and Summer; Great Grandfather of Peter, Joshua, Jacob, Sophia, Cora, Natalie, Camryn, and Charlotte; Brother of the Late Lawrence Johnson, the Late Marilyn Hoover, and Susan Bardsley; Preceded in death by his parents Knute and Mary Johnson.

Ed was a great man who worked hard through the Pontiac Police Department for 29 years. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. His favorite hobby was classic cars. He and Gloria enjoyed watching the grandkids swim in their pool. He had spent much time with friends and family in Tennessee and Florida. Ed loved his family and loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

A Visitation will take place on Monday at 11:30am at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30pm at the Funeral Home. A Graveside Service at Ottawa Park Cemetery to immediately follow. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research .
