Edward Eddie Ray Hanselman

HANSELMAN, Edward Ray "Eddie" of Ortonville, passed away suddenly on October 13, 2023, age 44. Loving son of Elizabeth Hanselman-Shubert, (Nicholas Barber), and Ray E. Hanselman, (Carol Page), and dearest brother of Toni (Douglas) Rusch, Ray A. (Lisa) Hanselman, and Carrie Hanselman (James Pearcy), and uncle of Jacob and Abigail Rusch, Gavin Hanselman, and Jimmy, Brayden, and Brooke Pearcy, and the boyfriend of Alexis Ouellette and her son, Landon.

Eddie owned and operated a variety of businesses throughout Oakland County. He was a devoted and generous son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved spending time in the outdoors and was an avid and skilled hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities, including ATV's boating and motorcycles, and his favorite team was the Detroit Lions. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him, he positively touched many lives.

A Celebration of Eddie's Life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home-Clarkston. Family and friends will gather at 12:00 noon until the time of service to remember Eddie. Memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
