Elizabeth "Betty" Pyenta

PYENTA, Elizabeth Ann "Betty"; of Clarkston; born May 19, 1946 in Warren to George and Gertrude Fintor;

a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at age 78.

Wife of John for 57 years; mother of Michael (Kimberly) Pyenta and Matthew (Abigail) Pyenta; grandma "Gaga" of Mia, George, Peter, Madeline and Stephen; Sister of James (the late Tracy) Fintor, Robert (Barbara) Fintor and Mary (Michael) Roskos; sister in law of Steve (Carol) Pyenta and Marianne (the late Donald) Szlezyngier; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty and her husband enjoyed golfing and bowling. They were able to travel extensively, visiting many countries. Many memories were made on cruises and in Hawaii, Switzerland, Ireland and almost all of the states in the United States. Betty was a caring and very generous person who loved spending time with family and friends.  She especially adored and was adored by her 5 grandchildren.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday, March 26th from 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Memorial Mass Thursday, March 27th at 11:00am at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston with visiting directly at the church at 10:30am.

Private interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
