Eugene "Chip" Acey

ACEY, Eugene A. "Chip"; of Davisburg formerly of Dearborn; born to Eugene and Barbara Acey in Detroit on January 28, 1940; passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 85; Loving Husband of Eleanore "Noni" Acey for 60 years; Proud Father of Adam (Alicia) Acey; Adoring Grandfather "Papa Chip" of Jacob, Amanda and Justin; Brother of Christine Oosting and the late Robert Acey. Chip's passion for life led him in many directions both professionally and personally. Opting to study art and education in college he went on to teach Junior High art. He joined the family tool and die business where he was able to hone his skills as an engineer and inventor. Chip was a pioneering amateur aviator, boxing judge and entrepreneur. Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, April 24th from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral Service Friday, April 25th at 10:00am at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Private Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston.
