Gary D. Teran

Gary Dennis Teran, age 74, of Clarkston, Michigan passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Gary was the beloved husband of Debby for 48 years.  Loving father of Brett (Lindsay) Teran and Jason (Abigail) Teran.  Cherished grandfather of Alexis, Julian, and Ainsley Teran.  Dear brother of Daniel (Deborah) Teran and twin to Nancy (the late Dennis) Fortuna.  He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Stephanie. He was the brother-in-law to Denise Rzeppa (Leo Andreucci). Uncle to Derek (Nicole) Fortuna, James (Kim) Russell, and Lauren (Kenny) Kiwicz.  Great-uncle to Devon Fortuna, as well as Lucas and Caleb Russell. He was also the godfather to Jackie (Mike) Doll, Catie (Gavin) Mills, and Lauren (Kenny) Kiwicz.

At the age of 18, after completing high school, he started college at GMI (later known as Kettering University) and also began working at General Motors, as the second out of three generations to be employed there. He later retired on October 1, 2009, after 40 years of service. He had a passion of music of which he loved to share. He loved playing as part of Crystal Key at various events. Gary will always be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, his wit and humor, and a light hearted meme or family update posted on Facebook. Everyone always felt as if they were part of his adventures by what he shared.

A Visitation will be held for Gary on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 11am at St. Daniel Catholic Church. Family and friends may arrive any time after 10:30am. With a Cemetery Service to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association .
