Harold "Wayne" Pillion

PILLION, Harold "Wayne"; of Clarkston, born November 1, 1948 in Oaks/Miracle, Kentucky to Floyd and Sadie (Wilder) Pillion, passed away suddenly of natural causes on August 5, 2023 while doing what he loved: cruising Woodward in his 1964 Pontiac Catalina convertible;

husband of Barbara for nearly 50 years; father of Terina (Jim Wright) Pillion and Jeffrey (Amy)  Pillion; papaw of Tristan (Amber Maday) Jackson; brother of Charles (Judy) Pillion, Doris Jean Eldridge, Carol (Boyd) Lee , and Michael (Teresa) Pillion; brother in law of Richard Parker and Vanessa Pillion; and he also leaves many additional dear family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Floyd Pillion Jr., Betty Jackson Parker, Ray Pillion, Joyce Ann Pillion and Lois (Keith) Wilder.

Wayne was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors after 37 years. He enjoyed classic cars, was a member of the Pontiac Widetrackers Car Club,  and will be remembered as a person who loved helping everyone. He will be missed by all.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday, August 9th from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service Thursday, August 10th at 12:30 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside service with military honors at Sashabaw Plains Cemetery will follow.
