Jack Hankins

HANKINS, Jack of Clarkston; passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 26, 2023; age 90.  Loving husband of Thelma Neubaum for over 32 years.  Beloved father of Cynthia (Dr. Daniel) Vandenberg, Lori (Paul) Duke and Leigh (Carrie) Hankins.  Special dad to Amy Londeck.  Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Dearest brother of Cheri (Scottie) Gentry, Gale Hankins, and Pat (Tina) Hankins.  Longtime friend and neighbor of Jack Bailey.  Preceded in death by his son, Michael Hankins and brother, Larry (late Virginia) Hankins.

Jack was proud to serve in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  He was a longtime building contractor.  He loved fly fishing, ice fishing and bird hunting.  Jack enjoyed gardening but most importantly loved spending time with family.
