James Audette

AUDETTE, James V.; of Clarkston; born August 25, 1933, in Detroit to the late Claude and Kathleen Audette; passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Maria Saunders-Audette for 36 years; father to Lisa Saunders and Deborah (Howard) Audette; grandfather to Scott Schryer and Brett (Jenny) Schryer; and great-grandfather to Grant Schryer. Preceded in death by siblings Harry, Frank, Charles Patrick, Claudia, Mary, and Kathleen.

James was self-employed from the age of 19, working as an electrician and specializing in fire alarm systems. He had a love for golfing and dancing of any kind.  James enjoyed traveling and going on cruises, visiting his favorite destinations such as Europe, Punta Cana, and Mexico. He was a devoted and active member of Christ the Redeemer Church in Lake Orion. James was loved by everyone and will be remembered for his outgoing personality.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 4th, at 11:00am at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, Lake Orion with visiting at the church at 10:30am.
