James Michael Barnes

BARNES, James M; of White Lake; passed away on October 7, 2023; age 74;

Husband of Bernadette "Berni"; Father of Melissa Barnes, Jaime (Jeff) Farrell and Amanda (Nick) Thayer; Papa of Alayna and Jillian Willett; Grandpa of Noah and Abel; Brother of Betty (Sue) Bowen, Patricia Barnes and Vickie Heard; Preceded in death by his sister Sharon (John) Putnam and his parents Frank and Margaret Barnes; Beloved uncle of many.

Jim attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Union Lake. He was a devoted family man, an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved to sing karaoke. He also enjoyed watching Westerns, especially those starring John Wayne. He was kind and generous with a one of kind sense of humor. Jim served in the U.S. Army and retired as an inspector from General Motors.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, Oct. 12th  from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Funeral Service Friday, Oct.13th at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Private interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston, MI.
