born on April 3, 1941 in Pontiac, MI to Emmett and Mary Hennig; passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 83;

Husband of Ruth (nee Holcomb) for 61 years; father of Jeff (Jill) Hennig and Aaron Hennig; grandpa of Ferris, Kenzie (Damon), ViAnna (Trevor) and Constance (Teddy Jr.); great grandpa of Scarlette Rain; oldest brother of Jerry Hennig,  Joanne Stringfield, Hennig, Pat Allen, Mary Ann Hennig, Chris (Pam) Hennig, John (Trish) Hennig, Sara Hennig and Therese (Hyde) Richardson; Brother in law of Bill Haslock; uncle of many;

Preceded in death by his parents, sister in laws Jeanne Haslock & Inez Smith and brother in law Owen Smith;

Jim owned and operated North Oakland Commodities. He was an avid racquetball player, enjoyed hunting and tinkering. He was a natural salesman.
