James Michael Marsh

MARSH, James Michael "Jim/Jimmy", passed away on April 29, 2024 of natural causes with his children by his side; age 83. He was preceded in death by his father James Marsh and mother Marie Marsh.  Survived by his three children, Alexa, Michael and Meryl Marsh.  Dearest brother of Marcy Clayton and Lisa Marsh and Uncle to 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

Jim was an avid reader, outdoorsman and animal lover.  He was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp. 1959-1963.  He was born in Oshkosh Wisconsin and then when his family moved to Farmington Hills Michigan, grew up there.  As a young man he attended Oceanside Carlsbad college, University of Michigan, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Wayne State University, Michigan Laborers Training Institute and Michigan Construction Trades and Safety Institute.  He held positions in various craftsmen's professions over the years and gravitated toward the artistic, unusual and those less fortunate.

Private arrangements entrusted to the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
