James Mccammon

McCammon, James W. of Waterford; passed away on December 21, 2023; age 95; preceded in death by his wife Geraldine "Gerry"; father of Jill (the late Bart) Larive, Kris (the late Tom) Auten, Dani (Joel) Meyers, and Nikki (Rob) Hellner; grandpa of Errin, Angie, Chad, Andy, Kevin, Keith, Kyle and Sandy; great-grandpa of Lilly, Avery, Macy, Ayden, Peyton, Kendall, Jude, Evan, Wyatt, Lucy, Landon, Laurelai, Quinn and Sloane; preceded by his grandson Mark. Jim was the last surviving sibling of Robert, Frances, Betty and Clem. As a United States Army Veteran, James served his country in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, James worked as a pipefitter for General Motors until his retirement. Friends may visit the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday December 28, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral service will be on Friday December 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Lifepoint Chapel (5860 Andersonville Rd., Waterford, MI 48329), with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial with military honors will follow at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.  Please leave a memory or condolence on Jim's online guestbook below.
