James Mcmurray

McMURRAY, James; of Davisburg; passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024; at the age of 86. He is reunited with the love of his life, his wife Marilyn McMurray; father of Karen McMurray and Connie Schimp; beloved grandfather to Cameron and Thomas; brother-in-law to Elaine (late), Gary, Linda, Steve, and Dianne Kraft. Special uncle to Kelly, Erin, Laura and Michael. Half-brother to Connie, Steve and Rick McMurray, preceded in death by his best friend and uncle Howard Robinson.

James was born and raised in Toronto. He came to the US in his early 20's and joined the Navy. In his 30's he started at Allstate insurance eventually going into the insurance business with his daughter Karen. Jim enjoyed spending winters in his second home in Florida, watching fox news, having a good meal, crossword puzzles and reading. Whatever he was doing he was happy and content. His greatest achievements were his family. He always made sure to let us know how much he loved and appreciated us.
