Predeceased in death by his father James Philip Schloff Sr., his mother Janet Hurst Schloff and his brother Richard James Schloff.

James is survived by his sisters Debora Schloff Elizondo (Ron), Kathleen Schloff Anderson (Steve); brothers Mark James Schloff (Becky), Jeffrey James Schloff (Marina); nieces and nephews Stacy Anderson, Joe Anderson, David Trimble (Aubrey), Brian Trimble (Jill), Rachel, Priscilla and Jeffrey Schloff, Melissa Schloff Jaroneski (David); great nieces and nephews Liam and Camden Trimble; Alexander James Trimble; Mia, Keira, Tessa and Maksym Zorski, Audrey Jaroneski.

Jimmie grew up and went to school in the Waterford area. He loved to go "up north" including cottages in Standish, Fenton and Higgins Lake, Michigan.  His passion was boating and he cruised many of the lakes in the area as well as Lake St Clair. He loved his Lions, Tigers, Wings and Pistons.

He was an athlete playing baseball, basketball, football and ran track as well as downhill and water skiing. As an adult, he played and coached baseball, went snowmobiling, hunting and fishing. In addition, he was an avid golfer.

He was also a cook and chef who owned and operated several carnival trucks and catering businesses as well as owner/operator for bars and restaurants.

A Visitation will take place at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday the 11th from 4pm-7pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday the 12th at 10am at the Funeral Home.  Interment All Saints Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
