James R. Thibodeau

THIBODEAU, James Robert "Jim" age 28 of Clarkston passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Son of Robert and Karen Thibodeau, brother of Mikayla (James) Smith, Thomas Thibodeau, Kateri Thibodeau, Joe Thibodeau, Kathleen Thibodeau, and Tim Thibodeau; grandson of Ruth Ann Thibodeau, and Jim and Kathleen Taube; dear family friend, Duncan Whitney; and he also leaves behind many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Thibodeau, and dear family friend, Newell Whitney.

Jim attended Everest Collegiate High School & Academy, graduating in 2015. He would continue his education at Oakland University, graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. Jim enjoyed fishing, playing ice hockey, soccer, basketball, disc golf, and listening to country music. He was also an excellent cook and baker, serving up many family favorites.

Family will receive friends at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, on Friday, January 17, 2025, with a Rosary beginning at 5:00 pm, followed by public visitation from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston, with visitation beginning at 11:30 am.
