DUCKETT, Jeffrey “Jeff”; of Clarkston; born February 8, 1961, in Ferndale; passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 65.
Beloved husband of his high school sweetheart Ruth Duckett. Loving father of Annelisa Marie (Jarid Lamont-Lee) Pearson and Edward Paul Duckett. Proud grandfather of Madison Elaine Allen, Adler Grace Pearson Wright, and Keane Michael Pearson. Dear brother of Cathy (Kevin) Keener, Michael (Janna) Duckett, David (Carla) Duckett, Robert (Mary) Duckett, Mary Beth Duckett, James Mauney, Paul Mauney, and Joseph Mauney. Uncle of Kristyn, Holly, Brigitte, Abby, Ryan, David Jr., Danielle, Lacey, Paul, Sean, and Anthony. Preceded in death by parents Paul and Mary Duckett, mother-in-law Judith and father-in-law Lanny.
Jeff attended Ferndale High School before going to complete trade school, beginning his long hardworking career. He worked as an inspector, traveling to nearly every state before continuing his career as a sheet-metal worker. He later worked at General Motors in Lake Orion. Jeff had a kind of hands-on knowledge that would consider him a true jack of all trades. Outside of his work, he enjoyed grilling, gardening, and was a car enthusiast. Jeff will be remembered for his selflessness and the deep love he had for his family. He was always there when someone needed help; his dependableness made him someone his family and friends could always turn to. Jeff was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His legacy will live on through the people he loved, and he will be deeply missed.
