Jill René Sansom

Jill René Sansom, 74, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. Jill was born August 22, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan to Dorothy and Herschel Sansom. She was a graduate of Clarkston High School Class of 1969. In school, Jill loved music and was a majorette in high school.  She served as Honored Queen on Job's Daughters during her high school years as well.  Jill also held a BS degree in Nutrition and a PhD in Naturopathic medicine.  She continued her love of music in later years by playing the flute at church and several local orchestras. She spent much of her life in Michigan, where  she pursued her passions for natural health, nutrition, classical music and religion.

She is survived by her children: Derek (Yvonne) Agar of Gaylord, Michigan, Holly (Jarrett) Kest of Madison, New Jersey and Heather (Matt) Soper of Livonia, Michigan; her brother Jack (Betty) Sansom, and sister Joy (Dennis) Hutchinson and sister Debbie (Mark) Fitz; her grandchildren: Torie, Isaac, Josiah, Logan, Ashton, Aydan, Allie, Sam and Brady; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Herschel Sansom.

Private immediate family graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston.

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
