ROBBINS, JoAnn; of Clarkston, formerly of Pontiac; born January 7, 1940 in Balkan, Kentucky to Ward and Catherine Miracle; passed away April 16, 2026 at the age of 86.
Preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her infant son, Brian.
Mother of Jenny Robbins (Greg) Warner. "Nanaw" to her pride and joy grandchildren: Mack McGinn, Addie Warner and Maggie (Cole) Carmichael.
Sister of Faye ( Bill) Heard and Winnie Miracle (Deb Taylor).
Also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
JoAnn was raised in Balkan, Kentucky, in a small mining community until her elementary years. Her family eventually moved to Pontiac, MI where JoAnn attended Pontiac High School.
JoAnn was dedicated to family and friends, and spending time with them. Although most of her years were spent in Michigan, JoAnn was a Southern girl through and through. She loved Country Music, Bluegrass, and harmonizing with her sister, Faye. Porch swings, rocking chairs and her mother's Southern cooking were among her favorite things. Yearly visits to see family when the dogwood was in full bloom was a yearly tradition her entire married life. Scenic mountains and Southern hospitality always brought her peace.
JoAnn had a strong devotion to God and instilled this faith in her daughter, Jenny. She found comfort reading her bible up until her final days.
After the passing of her husband, she became active in the Bethany Singles Group at St. Daniel's Catholic Church in Clarkston, MI. She cherished all the friendships and memories they made dancing, singing karaoke, playing card games and traveling to Naples, Florida.
