Joann M. Schwartz

SCHWARTZ, Joann M. of Clarkston; passed away on October 12, 2023; age 91.  Preceded in death by her husband Albert Schwartz Jr and recently her son Dale.  Loving mother of Daniel (Bernice) Schwartz.  Dearest sister of George (Margaret) Kapler.

Joann was a longtime member of Maranatha Baptist Church.  She was very supportive of church activities, even hosting events at her home. Joann retired as a schoolteacher from Brandon Public Schools.  Joann loved to travel with her husband all over the world, exploring many countries.

Visitation Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Service Wednesday, October 18 at 10 am at the funeral home.

Private Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice.
