Joel L. Ludke

LUDKE, Joel L.; born March 15, 1952 to Raymond and Norma Ludke in Detroit; of Clarkston formerly of Dearborn and Wixom; passed away suddenly on August 18, 2024 at the age of 72;

husband of Linda (nee Camden) for 47 years; father of Lisa (Sean) Nieman and Nicole (Anthony Lollio) Ludke; grandpa "Papa Joel" of Myles, Jack, Jillian and Brody; Joel was the 6th of ten Ludke children.

Joel graduated from Fordson High School, Dearborn (where he met Linda) and earned a bachelor's degree from University of Michigan. He was an avid U of M fan. Joel was an accountant, retiring as a controller from Trevarrow, Inc.

He will be remembered for his hard work ethic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching history documentaries, reading the daily newspaper and family trips to Cancun, Mexico.

A Celebration Gathering will be Saturday, Sept. 28th from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Crispelli's in Berkley. The family encourages you to wear U of M or Detroit Tiger's attire in Joel's honor.
