John Dean Black

BLACK, John Dean of Clarkston; passed away on July 31, 2023; age 82.  Beloved husband of Sue for 43 years. Loving father of John (Melissa Kelley) Black and Deanna Black.  Proud grandpa of Cassidy Black, Vanessa (Robert) Saul and Brittany Black.  Great grandpa of Tyler and Jasmine Webster.  Brother of James Black.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Vera Black, siblings Donald Black, Helen Deo, David Black, Robert Black, Nettie Fields, William Black, Thomas Black, and Darlene Austin and his daughter-in-law, Kristen Black.

John retired from General Motors after 33 years of service.  He was proud to finish High School and graduate in 1995.  John enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, but most importantly spending time with family.

Visitation Friday, August 4th from 5-8 pm and Saturday 11:30 am until 1 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Service Saturday 1 pm at the funeral home.

Interment Goodland Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
