John Robert Bundridge

BUNDRIDGE, John Robert; of Davisburg, Michigan; born May 19, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Kenneth and Amelia Bundridge; passed away on January 18, 2026 at the age of 85;

Father of Brent Bundridge and the late Mark John Bundridge;

Also survived by longtime companion of 14 years and caregiver, Dorothy Hess;

Former husband and friend of Jeri Hopp-Jarrett.

Dearest coworker of many.

Preceded in death by his brother James Bundridge.

John served in the U.S. Airforce. He earned a business administration degree from Cleveland State University, where he played basketball, and earned a Master's Degree. He retired in 1980 as a Human Resources Director from Deloitte Accounting firm after 20 years of service and then went on to enjoy a 18 year career as a Senior Corporate Relations Manager at Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti. He found much satisfaction in coordinating students with jobs and many coworkers became like family. He was an avid Clarkston sports fan and had a heart for philanthropy. He was an active member at Clarkston United Methodist Church.  He will be remembered as a generous person, always putting other's needs above his own. He volunteered with Salvation Army ringing the bell and served food at the New Hope Christian Fellowship Food Pantry.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston Monday, January 26th  from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Funeral Service Tuesday, January 27th  at 11:00am at Clarkston United Methodist Church, Clarkston. Interment with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
